Dorset: the surface with a double soul.

A collection inspired by Portland stone, a limestone with multiple textural interpretations.

The new interpretation represents the two perfectly complementary cores - Cross Cut and Vein Cut - corresponding to the two directions in which the quarry blocks are cut.

CROSS CUT LOOK: CLOUDY AND RICH WITH HYPER-REALISTIC DETAILS.

The Cross Cut look reproduces the cloudy aesthetics achieved by cutting the stone according to the layering direction of the stone material. The new Dorset surface reflects the colour variations and soft contrasts created by the sedimentation process, revealing a well balanced material.

VEIN CUT LOOK: A TONE-ON-TONE MINERAL FLOW.

The Vein Cut version reflects the stone cut perpendicular to the layering direction of the stone. The veins capture the charm of the directional textures, with a colour contrast that is rich and delicate at a time.

Dorset, enveloping shades for the contemporary interior

Dorset houses the most sophisticated combinations, harmonising different material and colour suggestions with astonishing ease.

The combination with the vivid pigments of the Nuances colour collection highlights the versatility and modernity of porcelain stoneware.

TEXTURAL STRUCTURES DESIGNED BY LIGHT.

Dorset is a contemporary surface in four cosy shades also available in a Ribbed version: it is the unusual 3D treatment, reminiscent of the chiselling typical of stone materials. Ribbed is designed to create refined and essential decorative surfaces.

THE TECHNOLOGICAL CONTENT: REALUP AND STRIDEUP

Dorset is the result of the application of two innovative technologies: RealUp and StrideUp. With RealUp, graphics and three-dimensionality achieve an unprecedented synergy. StrideUp expands the versatility and functionality of porcelain stoneware.
