Renewed Synergy Between IULM University and Italgraniti Group for Corporate Social Responsibility
For the second consecutive year, Italgraniti Group has renewed its collaboration with IULM University, sharing its strategies and initiatives on corporate social responsibility with the students of the “Principles of CSR and Communication” course. This course, part of the Master's degree in Strategic Communication, allows students to deepen their understanding of corporate communication dynamics related to sustainability.
Students were assigned a project aimed at creating a short video. The objective of the communication was to showcase the initiatives undertaken by Italgraniti Group in the areas of environmental, social, and governance sustainability.
At the end of 2024, the winning video was unanimously selected by both IULM University professors and the corporate communication team of the Group. The final stage of this creative journey took place last Friday, January 24, with the awarding of the winning project work, held at Italgraniti Group’s Milan showroom. Since 2022, the Group has been a Benefit Corporation and a certified B Corp, strengthening a long-established strategy that increasingly integrates innovation and sustainability.
By being certified as a B Corp since 2022, Italgraniti Group has been actively committed to transitioning toward an inclusive, fair, and regenerative economic model. This corporate strategy also extends to communicating its related themes and values, creating effective and creative communication tools, such as the collaboration with IULM University.
The winning project work video (watch below) stood out for its effective communication strategy, combining carefully calibrated visual and narrative elements to enhance brand awareness. The protagonists are young students from IULM University, representing Generation Z—a demographic particularly sensitive to sustainability issues—chosen to embody the values of Italgraniti Group and deliver an authentic and accessible message on sustainability. Through images of the Italgraniti Group showroom and the IULM University campus, the video establishes a connection between education, innovation, and social responsibility, reinforcing the brand's identity and engaging a diverse audience.
